Bury enter 2 senior teams in the Manchester and District Cricket Association, with the First and Second Teams playing in their respective Premier Divisions on a Saturday. The club also enter a Third Team in the North Manchester League; their fixtures are mainly, but not exclusively on a Sunday.
In recent years the First XI have enjoyed some success on the playing front winning the HC Smith Cup and Surridge Trophy in 2008 and finishing runners up in the League, Surridge Trophy and 20/20 Cup this year.
The club has one of the best junior sections in the area, entering seven junior teams in four different leagues.
The Under 18s are SC Reakes Winners.
The Under 14s are Salford Youth Cup Winners.
The Under 13s are Central Lancashire League Section 'B' and 'Super' Cup Winners.
The Under 12s are Salford Youth Cup Winners.
There are two junior Lancashire players with the club and another two players are currently attending final trials.
The club is committed to the development of cricket in the area being active members of the local cricket development group, working in the community through the Bury East Sports Association, providing school coaching at a number of local schools and it is also working to increase its coaching staff on a year on year basis. The club has also in recent years invested heavily in its facilities, which are now comparable with, if not better than, those of other clubs in the locality.

In the Summer Practice nights are Mondays 6:15 - 8:30 for Juniors under the age of 13, Tuesdays 6:15 - 8:30 for U14s - Seniors and Thursdays 6:15 - 8:30 Seniors.
